The strategic core competitiveness of construction enterprises is closely related to the post competence of the project manager team,and the construction of the project manager team is particularly important.The construction of the project manager's job competence model and its effective application in the construction of the project manager team have become a new topic in the organizational development and human resource management of construction enterprises.The research object of this paper,TY Construction Company,is a well-known construction enterprise in North China.Since 2010,the company's strategy and business have developed rapidly.The future development of strategic organization business will enter a new stage,and the construction of project manager team will become the key task of the company's strategy and organizational development.The post competency model of project manager and its application research are beneficial to the development of project manager team construction.The purpose of this study is to construct the competency model of TY construction company project manager,and to study the application of the competency model in project manager selection,training promotion and competency evaluation,so as to support the construction of TY project manager team.This paper first understands the current situation of the construction of project manager team in TY company,deeply analyzes the problems of project manager selection,training promotion and abiliTY evaluation,and fully understands the necessiTY of building competency model.Then,the paper makes a comprehensive study of the domestic and foreign competency model construction methods and practice research status.Next,combined with the actual needs of TY Company,the research on the construction of competency model of project manager is carried out.Finally,some suggestions on the application of the model are put forward.This paper has completed the factor selection,weight allocation,model simulation evaluation and verification of competency model through the methods of theoretical literature reference,corporate strategy and organizational management demand analysis,questionnaire survey,BEI,expert discussion and matching comparison.Then it puts forward the grading standards and specifications of each factor.Finally,combined with the realiTY of TY company,the paper puts forward suggestions on model revision and application of recruitment,training and promotion in the construction of project manager team.It is hoped that TY Company can greatly improve the existing project manager team construction level,enhance the overall post competency of project managers,promote the project management level and project performance of TY Company,and finally enhance the project competitiveness of TY Company and support the strategic development of the Company through the construction of the project manager competency model.It is also hoped that the research results of this paper can provide some possible support for enterprises in the construction industry,universities and industry research institutions.
