Technology Sourcing Overseas M&A Integration And Industrial Technology Innovation In Manufacturing Based On Innovation Network

Manufacturing is the pillar industry of the country.However,China's manufacturing is large but not strong,and it is urgent to transform and upgrade to achieve technological catch-up and surpass.Technology sourcing overseas M&A is considered to be the key method for China's manufacturing to solve industrial technology innovation problems.At present,there is relatively little literature that studies how overseas M&A integration affects the local industry across levels from an institutional perspective,and the literature on China and Canada as comparative objects is even not available.This article selects manufacturing technology sourcing overseas M&A cases as samples,starting from the perspective of the institutional environment of the home country,based on the theory and methods of the innovation network,through a comparative research between China and Canada,and explores the cross-level impact mechanism of overseas M&A integration on local industrial technology innovation,hoping to fill the gaps in related fields to a certain extent.This article expands on the basis of summarizing the research results of academia,and discusses how the acquirer chooses the appropriate degree of integration in different situations,and how does this integration strategy will affect the position of the acquirer' innovation network,so as to affect the local industrial technology,based on this considering the impact of the institutional environment of the home country.After that,this article puts forward reasonable assumptions with the support of the above theory,using the structural equation model to empirically test the authenticity of the relevant assumptions.Finally,starting from empirical conclusions,this article makes recommendations for the enterprises and country,hoping to contribute to practical guidance in related fields.After empirical testing,this article draws the following conclusions: the acquirer adopts an integration strategy that matches the relevance of resources,which can improve its centrality and structural hole position,thereby improving the level of local industrial technology innovation,and the institutional environment of the home country can play a positive regulating role in this transmission process.
