With rising R & D costs,shorter product life cycles,increasingly specialized technical knowledge,companies are responding to numerous challenges through innovative activities.When enterprises learn new opportunities from inside and outside,cooperation under network conditions begins to become more common,and synergies,alliances,and social networks have emerged.Embedded in the relationship network,enterprises are no longer isolated individuals,and social networks have gradually become one of the important ways for enterprises to obtain resources.All strategic actions of enterprises are affected by the location of the relationship network.When developing a strategy,it is necessary to analyze the enterprise environment to select an innovation strategy suitable for development,which is the key to the successful operation of the organization.Enterprise innovation is double-layer embedded in a collaborative social network between researchers and a knowledge network of links between knowledge elements.The structural characteristics of these two networks are different but they exist interactively.Guided by social network theory,resource-based theory,and innovation theory,this study embeds the enterprise knowledge network and collaboration network into the same framework,proposes the concept of enterprise double-layer network,defines and classifies the double-layer network structure,studies the different impact of enterprise double-layer network structures on enterprise performance,and explores the adaptability of innovation strategy and enterprise double-layer network structure.Taking the 138 listed companies in China's computer,communication,information technology service industry and others from 2004 to 2015 as an example,the regression model is used to obtain the following conclusions: The double-layer network structure has a significant positive impact on enterprise performance;the innovation strategy plays a positive role in the relationship between the double-layer network structure and the enterprise performance.That is,the higher the level of exploratory innovation is,the greater the impact of the high knowledge network-high collaboration network type,the high knowledge network-low collaboration network type,the low knowledge network-low collaboration network type double-layer network structure on enterprise performance will be;the higher the degree of exploitation innovation is,the greater the impact of the high knowledge network-high collaboration network,low knowledge network-high collaboration networkdouble-layer network structure on enterprise performance will be.Based on the above research conclusions,this paper proposes some management suggestions.Enterprises should pay attention to identify and optimize the double-layer network structure,and select or adjust the innovation strategy according to the enterprise's double-layer network structure type to improve enterprise performance.The results of this paper enrich the cross-disciplinary research between social network field and innovation field.They also provide a theoretical basis for enterprises to identify and optimize the double-layer network structure and adjust the innovation strategy correspondingly.
