On The Improvement Of Knowledge Management In The IT Department Of Company M

With the entry into the 21^st century,information technology?IT?has played an increasingly important role in today's social and economic development,as well as within enterprises.With the emergence of various new information technologies,it is worthwhile for us to think deeply about how enterprise IT departments can effectively manage and apply these technologies and knowledge,and create new knowledge in order to create values for enterprises.The application of knowledge management in enterprises is increasing in recent years,and it will be one of the important tools to manage enterprise knowledge.By describing the current situation and issues of knowledge management which exist in IT department of Company M,according to the relevant theories and methods of knowledge management,this thesis concludes the importance of knowledge management.We found the issues through years of working in IT department of Company M.Managers and IT engineers lack awareness of knowledge management,insufficient protection and incentive for knowledge within enterprises,talent training objective not enough;lack of uniform knowledge management platform tools at the technical level to manage these knowledge,less methods to do knowledge innovation.According to the above issues,the corresponding improvement plan is put forward.Firstly,establishing and improving the performance appraisal system of knowledge management.Secondly,creating a good atmosphere for knowledge sharing and transmission.Thirdly,establishing a unified knowledge management platform.Finally,strengthening communication between departments to enhance knowledge mining and creativity.This thesis is divided into the following chapters.Chapter 1,this part mainly describes the research background,purpose,significance and method of this thesis.Chapter 2,describes the related theories and methods of knowledge management combined with the work in IT department of Company M.Chapter 3,mainly describes and analyses the current situation and issues of knowledge management in IT department of Company M.Chapter 4,according to the situation and existing issues of the previous chapter,the corresponding objectives and solutions are proposed,also propose the safeguard measures of knowledge management in IT department of Company M.Last chapter,summarize and prospect the research work.
