China has been Vietnam's big trading partner, and Vietnam imports large quantities of goods from China each year and exports relatively little to China,it is causing the trade deficit to persist for many years.China is one of Vietnam's neighboring countries-which is a market with the world's largest market, there are many similar cultures and consumption preferences between Vietnam and China that will become an advantage of exports. The paper selects the most biggest volume of goods exported by Vietnam to China as: agricultural products, forestry products, aquatic seafood products, textiles, minerals, electrical equipment and parts,a total of 6 types of merchandise and 7 effect factors include: Vietnam's economic growth,China's economic growth, the Sino-Vietnamese economic gap,China's population growth, the USD/VND exchange rate,Vietnam's investment in infrastructure, and China's direct investment in Vietnam.Select the data during the study period from the first quarter of 2009 to the second quarter of 2018 to figure out the effect of 7 factors on 6 types of merchandise through theoretical and empirical analysis. In the empirical analysis, the trade gravity model is used for correlation testing, linear regression,ADF testing(Augemented Dickey Fuller test)to verify data stability,Johansen cointegration analysis. Thus, through the result will figure out the impact of the factors will lead to more adaptive development measures to increase the volume of each export category, while also making the export to China to be showing more signs of recovery.
