Brazil and China share a mutual friendly development for international business, investment and trading. Both countries are part of the BRICS economic group and have been fostering an outstanding relationship over several years.Brazil acknowledges China as its biggest trading partner for over a decade now, surpassing the United States in 2009,and it has a major role in supplying commodities goods-such as soybeans,ore,sugar,meat-to the Chinese companies.Nevertheless,China also sees great potential in the Brazilian market and the volume of the Chinese investment has skyrocketed in the past few years, especially in industries as energy, infrastructure and technology. On the other hand, internally, regarding the water market,China faces an entirely different reality whether compared to Brazil.China's local water supply is,unquestionably, not enough for its massive population and increasing demand which, consequently, makes China depended on overseas countries for mineral water importation business. As a result of this dependence,China became a highly competitive platform for dozens of foreign and local water brands willing to take advantage of the opportunity to lead the local market. At the same time,Brazil is one of the top countries for natural water resource and water supply power holding around 12% of the world's freshwater, but still has not developed sustainable ways to benefit from such potential due several reasons.Internal logistic challenges, government policies, bureaucracy and lack of know-how are seen as the most significant barriers for the Brazilian internationalization. In general, the Brazilian public and private sector still have not found a synchronized balance to work together for the sake of the country.Taking into consideration the positive relationship between both countries,Brazil's exportation potential and supply power, and the Chinese urgent need for overseas water, there is an excellent opportunity for Brazilian mineral water brands to access the Chinese market and develop a successful entry-mode.This paper,as a case study and in-depth analysis, aims to validate the possibility whether Brazil is capable of,at least partially, solve China's issues on supply and demand of mineral water. In order to validate the hypothesis and due to the high-complexity degree of the topic, this case study is based on a qualitative analysis of all the data collected, previous researches, interviews, questionnaires and observation analysis for the conclusions.
