This study focuses on how to use feedback seeking behavior,maintain the competitive advantage of enterprises,and provide assistance for service transformation in the dynamic environment of economic globalization and China's economic transformation.With the rapid development of information technology and increasingly fierce competition in manufacturing,innovation has become an important way for the manufacturing industry to achieve service.Especially for ambidexterity innovation,many scholars have found that both exploratory and developmental innovations are conducive to the completion of the manufacturing service strategy.According to the theory of social cognition,the realization of ambidexterity innovation has a great relationship with individual behavior.The feedback seeking behavior of employees not only improves the individual innovation ability,but also the internal and external information obtained from the perspective of resources is helpful to explore.And develop a balance between the two innovation activities to further promote ambidexterity innovation.At the same time,according to the resource-based theory and the dynamic capability theory,the feedback seeking influence the ambidexterity innovation and service will be affected by organizational inertia,organizational entrepreneurship orientation and strategic flexibility.Therefore,it is necessary to explore how feedback seeking influence manufacturing servitization through ambidexterity innovation,and to study the regulatory role played by organizational inertia,entrepreneurial orientation and strategic flexibility.The innovations of this paper are as follows:(1)Establishing a mediation effect model of feedback seeking ambidexterity innovation-manufacturing serviceization,enriching existing research.(2)Based on the Chinese situation,Enriching the research on the pre-variables of ambidexterity innovation from the perspective of feedback seeking and deepening the understanding of feedback seeking and ambidexterity innovation relationship.(3)Constructing a model of the regulation role of organizational inertia,entrepreneurial orientation and strategic flexibility on the relationship between feedback seeking and manufacturing servitization,which has guiding significance for the successful transformation of manufacturing enterprises.This research adopts literature analysis,case study,empirical test,qualitative and quantitative research methods to analyze the role mechanism of “feedback seeking – dual innovation – manufacturing service”,and selects feedback seeking behavior as the explanatory variable,ambidexterity innovation as the intermediary variable,manufacturing servitization as the explained variable,organizational inertia,entrepreneurial orientation and strategic flexibility as the adjustment variables.This study takes the manufacturing of multinational listed companies in China's ShenzhenShanghai Stock Exchange as a research object.A total of 392 listed companies were collected as samples,and Stata13.0 software was used for empirical research.The results show that:(1)Feedback seeking has a significant positive effect on manufacturing service;(2)ambidexterity innovation plays a partial intermediary role in feedback demand and manufacturing servitization;(3)Organizational inertia,entrepreneurial orientation and strategic flexibility are important adjustment variables that influence feedback seeking and the relationship between ambidexterity innovation and manufacturing servitization.Organizational inertia,entrepreneurial orientation and strategic flexibility play a positive role in the relationship between feedback seeking and ambidexterity innovation,ambidexterity innovation and manufacturing servitization.According to the research conclusions,this paper puts forward three suggestions: In order to make the enterprise transition to service,the enterprise must first consider individual factors,seek good behavior through internal and external feedback,cultivate a good learning and innovation atmosphere,and obtain higher quality information.And transform these elements into enterprise resources and the ability to use resources to promote dual innovation.Secondly,comprehensively consider the influence of various organizational factors,maintain a certain inertia,and meet the needs of enterprise development.Finally,cultivate entrepreneurial orientation,improve strategic flexibility,balance the contradictory demand for resources between exploratory innovation and developmental innovation,and promote the transformation of manufacturing enterprises into service.
