| With the deepening of economic globalization and social division of labor,the boundary industries between manufacturing and service industries have gradually blurred.The phenomenon of manufacturing service-oriented was first initiated by enterprises in developed countries and gradually began to form a global trend.Our government also attaches great importance to this and regards it as an important link to realize the structural upgrading of China’s manufacturing industry.Since 2014,the Chinese government has successively issued a series of policy documents such as "Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Development of Productive Services and Promoting Industrial Structure Adjustment and Upgrade","Made in China 2025",and "Special Action Guidelines for Developing Service-oriented Manufacturing" to guide and Support manufacturing enterprises to shift to service-oriented.A number of outstanding Chinese companies have taken the lead in implementing service-oriented reforms and are beginning to benefit.Manufacturing service is of great significance for China’s manufacturing enterprises to enhance the status of the value chain,and is an important part of the structural upgrading of China’s industry.Through qualitative and quantitative analysis,this paper studies the impact of manufacturing service on China’s manufacturing technology innovation.The author creatively divides the technological innovation level of the manufacturing industry into two dimensions: innovation efficiency and innovation capability,and uses the DEA-BCC model to analyze the innovation input and innovation output of various industries to calculate the innovation efficiency value.The author also uses the complete consumption coefficient method to analyze the World InputOutput Table(WIOD),and calculates China’s manufacturing serviceability coefficient.Then use the two-stage least squares method to quantitatively analyze the impact of manufacturing service on innovation efficiency and innovation ability.Taking into account the heterogeneity of service inputs,this paper also separately selects four types of service services: "transport service industry","information service industry","financial service industry" and "business service industry".In addition,considering the industry heterogeneity of the manufacturing industry,this paper also divides the manufacturing industry into high-tech,medium-tech,and low-tech three categories for review based on the OECD’s technology-intensive standards.The conclusions obtained by the research are as follows:(1)The overall service of the manufacturing industry has a suppressive effect on the improvement of innovation efficiency,but it has a significant promotion effect on the improvement of the innovation ability;(2)The service efficiency of transportation on the innovation efficiency and innovation ability of the manufacturing industry All have a suppressing effect,information service has a suppressing effect on innovation ability,financial service has a suppressing effect on innovation efficiency,but it has a promoting effect on innovation ability,business service has a promoting effect on innovation ability;(3)overall service The innovation efficiency of high-,medium-and lowtech manufacturing industries has a suppressive effect,and the intensity of the effect has an "inverted U" relationship with the industry’s technology intensity,that is,medium technology has the strongest inhibitory effect,and high-and low-tech technologies are significantly weaker;(4)The overall service orientation promotes the innovation ability of high-and medium-tech manufacturing industries,and the inhibitory effect on low-tech manufacturing industries is not significantly similar;(5)For high-tech manufacturing industries,transportation serviceoriented significantly inhibits innovation capabilities,information Serviceization significantly promotes innovation efficiency,but inhibits innovation ability,and financial and business serviceization significantly inhibits innovation efficiency,but both Promoting innovation capability;(6)For the medium-tech manufacturing industry,transportation serviceization significantly inhibits innovation efficiency and innovation capability,information serviceization significantly inhibits innovation capability,financial serviceization inhibits innovation efficiency,but promotes innovation capability,business Serviceization significantly promotes innovation capability;(7)For low-tech manufacturing,transportation serviceization significantly inhibits innovation capability,information serviceization significantly inhibits innovation efficiency and innovation capability,financial serviceization significantly promotes innovation capability,and business serviceization Significantly promoted innovation efficiency and innovation ability. |
