Agglomeration Effect,Division Of Industrial Chain And Enterprise Innovation

As an important place to carry the National Innovation Strategy,High-tech Industrial Development Zone(hereinafter referred to as high-tech zone)is an important spatial carrier to improve the regional economic level and enterprises' innovation capability.How to improve the innovation ability of the enterprises in the high-tech zone has become an urgent problem in the successful operation of the high-tech zone,as well as a research hotspot of regional economic discipline.This article introduces the theory of specialized agglomeration and diversified agglomeration into the study of the innovation mechanism of the high-tech zone.Based on the micro data of manufacturing enterprises in the Zhangjiang National Innovation Demonstration Zone,this paper analyzes the similarities and differences of two agglomeration effects on enterprise innovation ability and deconstructs the impact of two agglomeration effects on enterprises in different industrial chain links in each technology density industry.The study found that,firstly,the diversified agglomeration of various sub-parks can significantly promote enterprise innovation,while the impact of specialized agglomeration on enterprise innovation is not significant.Secondly,compared to the enterprises producing primary and intermediate products,the innovation capacity of enterprises producing final products is more susceptible to the influence of diversified agglomeration.Finally,there are differences in the impact of diversified agglomeration on innovation behavior in various technology density industry.Diversified agglomeration can significantly improve the innovation capabilities of enterprises producing intermediate and final products in the mid-tech and high-tech industries,while in the low-tech industries,the diversified agglomeration does not affect the innovation capabilities of enterprises.The results show that cultivating diverse industries,especially the intermediate and final product links of the medium and high technology industries,through policyincentives and industry guidance is more in line with the diverse and timely needs of huge domestic market.And it has a positive effect on the improvement of the innovation ability of China high-tech zones at this stage.Through further research on the impact mechanism of high-tech zone enterprises' innovation from the perspective of agglomeration effect and industrial chain division of labor,it will help deepen the understanding and exploration of reasonable realistic paths for the growth of enterprises in the high-tech zones.At the same time,it also provides a reference for the government to formulate effective incentive mechanisms and introduce industrial policies for high-tech zones.
