Nowadays,enterprises are facing more and more diversified and complicated competition in the increasingly fierce market situation.The competition between enterprises not only focus on company scale and capital,increasing number of companies tend to get advantage by advanced supply chain system as well as the mature market channels.Supplier management,as an important part of supply chain management,aims to help enterprises improve their relationship with suppliers,at the same time,maximizing the benefits from suppliers is the key step in the development strategy of enterprises.It decides whether an enterprise can stand out in competition,which has far-reaching value and significance for the long-term development of the enterprise.This article analyzes the present situation and development trend of supplier management theory,and clarifies the importance and necessity of supplier classification management in procurement management.Then the article analyzes the current situation of supplier management of D company,based on the development strategy and guidelines,this paper studies the existing problems in supplier management of D Company,and proposes a method of supplier classification.After that,presents the corresponding supplier management strategy based on the supplier classification of D company.According to this strategy,establish different supplier evaluation indexes and implement various performance appraisal plans.Then proposes appropriate incentive plans according to supplier evaluation results,aims to improve supplier management for D company.The article also discusses the importance of categorized supplier management to D company's development and points out the shortcomings during the research and study,posts some suggestions for future improvement and looks forward to the improvement persistence of this study.The issue discussed in this paper has universality in the same industry and can be introduced to other enterprises.In addition,the study of supplier classification management has certain reference and guiding significance for enterprises on improving supplier relationships.
