Supplier Management Research Of HD Wind Power Corporation

Competition between enterprises is actually the competition between supply chain. The cost of products is not only the cost of production but also the cost and efficiency of the external resources in supply chain. Thus, more and more enterprises adopt supply chain management. Under such background, supplier management has become the key factor of affecting the efficiency throughout the supply chain. To enhance the supply management, raise the efficiency of using external resources, are strategic significant to enterprises.Wind power generation is one of the most prospective renewable energy, which plays an important role in energy contribution of our country. Wind power generation industry is growing rapidly theses years. As key components of wind power generation industry, manufacturer of wind power converter has numerous suppliers with complex constitution. Supplier management decides the survival and competitiveness of the enterprises.This paper first describes the research background, object and significance. Briefly introduces the basic theory of supply chain and supplier management. The paper takes HD company as the research object, systematically analyze the current situation, problems and reasons.In the next, the paper makes optimization measurements for HD company, including improvement of supplier selection, establishing of supplier classification, supplier performance appraisal and putting forward measures for supplier relationship management, focusing on using Kraljic Matrix and AHP in setting up supplier selection and performance appraisal with calculation examples.The study of this paper will effectively improve the supplier management system of HD company. To establish more competitive supplier team and long-term strategic partnership with strategic suppliers will become the basis for realizing sustainable development, which is beneficial to common development between HD company and suppliers.
