Research On The Integration Efficiency Of Tourism Integration And Agriculture In Shanxi Province

As a typical resource-based economic region,Shanxi province is facing the status of relying on resource endowment development.The industry highly depends on resources during development,but the development mode is very simple and direct,often causing waste of resources and affecting the horizontal and vertical extension of the industrial chain.Eventually,the industries in Shanxi province almost follow the same development trajectory like coal,and fall into the same predicament.The transformation which Shanxi province pursues should be a transformation of development mode,instead of a transformation from one industry to another.Otherwise,it will not be "transformation" but "change of business." Considering the realistic background of Shanxi's urgent need for transformation,this paper studies the integrated development of tourism and agriculture combined the policy calling for overall tourism and rural revitalization,analyzes the changes in the integration efficiency of the two,and finds a new path for the industrial development of Shanxi.Based on the domestic and foreign literature on industrial integration and agri-tourism integration,this article first analyzes the effect of the integration of tourism industry and agriculture on both agriculture and tourism industry.Secondly,it focuses on the existing problems in the development of the tourism industry and agriculture in Shanxi Province.Then,the evaluation index system of the two industries is constructed,initially calculating the integration degree of the tourism industry and agriculture through the coupling coordination model.Meanwhile,it also proves that there is an interaction between the two industries.Finally,calculate the efficiency of tourism and agriculture to promote each other and the integration efficiency of the two,using the DEA cross-efficiency model,analyze the calculation results and existing problems,and make corresponding suggestions.The results show that:(1)From the comprehensive evaluation index of tourism industry and agriculture,the development level of tourism industry is always higher than that of agriculture,but the development level of agriculture has been rising.The comprehensive evaluation index tourism peaked in 2012 and continued to decline after that.There is a moderate correlation between the comprehensive evaluation indices of the two industries;(2)From the integration degree of the tourism industry and agriculture,a coupling coordination model is introduced to calculate the integration degree of the two industries.The degree of coupling between tourism and agriculture has been maintained at a high level.Although the degree of coordination has fluctuated slightly,it always above the general level;(3)From the perspective of the integration efficiency of tourism and agriculture,although the efficiency of agriculture to promote the tourism industry is lower than that of tourism to promote agriculture,these two kinds of promotion efficiency are on the rise and it increases a lot.The change trend of the integration efficiency of the tourism industry and agriculture is different.It has declined slightly since 2014.There are other constraints on the integration efficiency of the tourism industry and agriculture.In order to further improve the integration efficiency of tourism industry and agriculture in Shanxi Province,government departments should introduce relevant policies and management systems to create a good environment for integrated development;they should integrate tourism and agricultural resources across the region and plan and layout from an overall point of view.The agricultural and tourism industries will exercise their initiatives in the development of integration to innovate convergent products and improve integration efficiency.At the same time,update the publicity and marketing channels,with traditional mainstream media and new media platforms working together,to improve the popularity and influence of the integration of agriculture and tourism projects,change the stereotyped label of Shanxi province and pave the way for economic transformation.
