Intelligent manufacturing has become the mainstream trend of industrial development all over the world.For Guangdong manufacturing industry,which has been in the middle and low end of the industrial chain for a long time,grasping a new round of industrial transformation opportunities and using technological innovation to promote the development of manufacturing towards intelligent manufacturing is the way to promote industrial upgrading and enhance the brand competitiveness.At the same time,in the context of the era of knowledge economy,the trend of brand competition and market competition with intellectual property as the core is prominent.As a source of brand competitiveness of enterprises,patents play an important role in enhancing the market competitiveness of enterprises.Therefore,based on the patent map,this paper analyzes the current situation and characteristics of technology development and enterprise management in the field of intelligent manufacturing in Guangdong from the perspective of patents,and proposes countermeasures for their common problems,thus providing a reference for the way to enhance Guangdong manufacturing brand competitiveness.Through the study,it is found that the current development status of Guangdong manufacturing industry in the field of intelligent manufacturing:(1)The industry is in a stage of rapid development,and related technologies are in the stage of growth to maturity,and the industry will usher in a comprehensive development in the next decade or so;(2)Technological innovation is dominated by enterprises,but the patent quality and value of universities / research institutions are higher;(3)The overall degree of cooperation between universities / research institutions and enterprises is low;(4)Regional development of the industry is unbalanced,the Pearl River Delta with Shenzhen as the core is the core area of industrial,but industrial development in other regions lags behind;(5)Invention patents account for about 70%,but its authorization rate is much lower than that of utility model patents.The quality needs to be improved.(6)Related technologies of Intelligent manufacturing are mainly concentrated in categories such as G06 F / G06 K / H04 L / H04 M /H04 N / H04 W / G05 B / G01 R / G01 N / B25 J,etc.The technical research hotspots include computer science,intelligent warehousing and logistics,measurement and monitoring,data transmission and mobile communications,video recording transmission and display,terminal equipment,control systems,manufacturing equipment and other fields.From the analysis of the development status of Guangdong manufacturing industry in thefield of intelligent manufacturing,there are four main issues presented in the analysis of patent information,including low rate of invention patent authorization,uneven development between industries,deficiency of the depth and breadth of industry-university-research cooperation and the risk of homogeneous competition in the industry.In this regard,the paper puts forward four suggestions including improving the innovation ability of enterprises and patent application quality,optimizing resource allocation and innovative brand promotion path,perfecting the cooperation mechanism of industry,university and research institute,and implementing brand differentiation competition strategy,in order to solve the realistic problems that impact the technological innovation and business management in the process of intelligent transformation of Guangdong manufacturing companies and to promote the improvement of corporate brand competitiveness.In the end,the article further summarizes the shortcomings and limitations of the study.
