Research On Coordination Development Of Guangdong Region Based On Innovation Driven

Since China's reform and opening up,Guangdong,as a province with the highest ecomonic level in China,has made outstanding contributions to China's economic development.However,the large development gap between different regions of Guangdong Province and the uneven development among regions is restricts the healthy and sustainable development of Guangdong's economy and society.According to the report of the 19 th CPC National Congress,it's important for us to implement regional coordinated development strategy and establish a more effective regional coordinated development mechanism.Breakthroughs in key areas such as rational regional layout,sustainable development,and innovation drive,enhancing the viability of regional development and realizing the optimal allocation of resources are the requirements for coordinated development of Guangdong in the new era.Besides,clearing the state,level and critical path of coordinated regional development is crucial for Guangdong to develop effective policy measures.After clarifying the conception and connotation of regional coordinated development,this paper builds a comprehensive evaluation index system of regional coordinated development,which contains four target levels(economic growth,environmental protection,energy construction and education innovation)and 44 specific indicators.Also,this paper constructs a comprehensive evaluation model of system coupling coordination degree,which uses the concept of coupling in physics.Then,it measures and compares the development index and coordination degree of Guangdong from 2007 to 2016,and finds out the key path that affected the coordinated development.Further more,this paper defines the connotation of the technology effects of the regional coordinated development system and constructs the measurement model of the regional coordinated development system on this basis.The DEA-Malmquist productivity index measurement method is used to decompose the technology effects of Guangdong regional coordinated development system,and the corresponding analysis is made based on the decomposition results.The empirical results show that the average level of development index of each subsystem in the Pearl River Delta region of Guangdong is relatively high,and the cities it contains basically belong to the coordination category.Shenzhen and Guangzhou are in good coordination.The eastern,western and northern areas of Guangdong are basically transitional.The degree of coordination of most cities in the province has risen overall,but the degree is slightly different.The decomposition results of the technology effects of the regional coordinated development system show that during the investigation period,the technical effect of the regional coordinated development system in Guangdong is generally on the rise,and technological improvement is the main driving factor.In terms of convergence,only the eastern region of Guangdong is subject to ? convergence and ? convergence at the same time,while other regions of Guangdong are subject to the conditional ? convergence only.At the end of this paper,based on the conclusions drawn from the research,several countermeasures and suggestions for promoting the coordinated development of Guangdong region are proposed.
