| Since China accessed to the World Trade Organization in 2001,the total trade of China has been growing rapidly, and its contribution to GDP is increasing. In 2013,the total trade of China surpassed the United States, making China as the world’s largest trading country. However, the added value of exports products is still relatively low.China is not a trade power. In 2013,China proposed the ―One Belt and One Road‖ Initiative. The effective implementation of the Initiative can optimize the Chinese economic development pattern, and enhance Chinese influence in the international area.Analyzing the influence factors of China’s trade status can help China to further enhance its trade status. In the paper,we add the time of diplomatic, bilateral income gap, degree of openness, and so on into the basic trade gravity model. And we take the proportion of bilateral trade between China and the countries of ―One Belt and One Road‖ in the total trade of the countries of ―One Belt and One Road‖ from the year 2005 to 2014 as China’s trade status in the countries.Using the fixed effects model and the random effects model,we analyze the influence factors of China’s trade status in the countries of ―One Belt and One Road‖.First, this paper analyzes the bilateral trade status. Then,it analyzes China’s trade ranking in the countries of ―One Belt and One Road‖.At the end of,it makes an empirical analysis about the influence factors of China’s trade status. The empirical results indicate that the time of diplomatic and the bilateral income gap have very significant positive impact on the China’s trade status in the countries of ―One Belt and One Road‖.Meanwhile, dependence on foreign trade, distance between national capitals, and the population of the countries of ―One Belt and One Road‖ have very significant negative impact on the China’s trade status in the countries of ―One Belt and One Road‖.The innovations of this paper are to research the the influence factors of China’s trade status in the countries of ―One Belt and One Road‖ and to add the time of diplomatic into the trade gravity model. But the national politics and other factors can also be added into the influence factors. |
