| To build a modern economic system,the focus of economic development must be on the real economy.In the context of the Chinese economy entering the new normal,a modernized economy can win the initiative in international competition.Manufacturing modernization is an important part of a modern economic system,and technological innovation is the primary driving force for the modernization of manufacturing.Therefore,it is particularly important to study how technological innovation affects the modernization of manufacturing.In this regard,this article evaluates the current level of technological innovation in China starting from the concept of technological innovation and the current status of technological innovation in China.Secondly,sort out and understand the connotation of manufacturing modernization,and give the evaluation method of manufacturing modernization according to the connotation of manufacturing modernization.Finally,the panel data model in econometrics is used to empirically test the impact of technological innovation on manufacturing modernization.Through theoretical and empirical analysis,this article draws the following conclusions:First,in terms of technological innovation,the level of technological innovation in various provinces in the country in 2009-2018 is in a rising trend,especially since 2014.Due to the increase in R & D investment and the continuous improvement of the quality of human capital,the level of technological innovation has increased faster..By 2018,most provinces have reached at least a medium level,with only a few provinces in the northwest,and the level of technological innovation has been slow to develop.In general,the level of technological innovation in the country continues to develop rapidly.Second,in terms of manufacturing modernization,the level of manufacturing modernization in all provinces in the country continued to rise from 2009 to 2018.Provinces with high levels of manufacturing modernization are mainly concentrated in densely populated and resource-rich areas in central and eastern China.The level of manufacturing modernization in North China has not grown as fast as before 2013 and has been in a stable state.On the whole,the level of manufacturing modernization in various provinces is still growing,but the growth rate is much slower than before 2013.Third,technological innovation has a significant positive impact on manufacturing modernization.It can be seen from the empirical analysis that manufacturing modernization is closely related to the development of technological innovation.Provinces with higher levels of technological innovation have rapid development of manufacturing modernization.Regardless of purely considering the impact of technological innovation on manufacturing modernization,or considering the combined effects of other factors,technological innovation has a significant positive impact on manufacturing modernization.The greater the technological innovation index,the higher the level of manufacturing modernization,Modernization has a clear positive role.Specifically,every 1% increase in the technological innovation index increases the manufacturing modernization index by about 0.65%;considering other factors,every 1% increase in the technological innovation index increases the manufacturing modernization index by about 0.56%.Increasing the level of technological innovation can significantly increase the level of modernization of the manufacturing industry.Based on the above conclusions,this article puts forward the following suggestions: First,increase R & D capital investment;second,improve the quality of human capital;third,improve labor compensation,promote the original ability of labor,and optimize the allocation of labor resources;Modern service industry. |
