Evaluation Of Technological Innovation In The Perspective Of Modernization Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry

Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)is the precious medical wealth handed down by the Chinese nation for 5000 years.To help the Chinese nation resist the invasion of diseases is not only the crystallization of the wisdom and experience of the Chinese,but also contribute to the progress of traditional medicine in the world.With the development of human civilization and the change of living environment,the disease spectrum tends to be complex and changeable,and people’s health concept also changes.People gradually recognize the advantages of TCM in the treatment of diseases and the prospect of TCM is very broad.TCM industry is an important part of TCM,so it plays an important role in improving the health of society.As one of the high-tech industries,under the support of modernization policy,it is inevitable for social development and self-development to combine TCM with modern science and technology to give full play to the advantages.Generally,the level of technological innovation is examined from the perspective of input-output to reflect the effectiveness of the modernization policy.Therefore,the evaluation on the technological innovation of the TCM industry modernization is of great significance to understand the current situation of the TCM industry modernization in China,which helps TCM grasp the opportunities while meeting the challenges,and it also provides reference for the further development of the modernization of TCM industry.Under the background of the modernization of TCM industry,first,the paper is based on the literature research,using the theory of system,modernization,industrial organization and technological innovation as the theoretical support.In the part of system research,it explains the system of modern technology innovation of TCM industry and the evaluation system of modern technology innovation of TCM from connotation,constituent elements and models.Second,in the part of index system construction,the paper selects input-output index based on the previous research,and the index system of technological innovation evaluation is established by comprehensive use of correlation analysis and discrimination analysis,and it includes four first-class indexes and eight second-class indexes.Third,in the empirical part,this paper collects the original data of 2009-2018 in the high technology statistical yearbook and China Science and technology statistical yearbook,and comprehensively uses factor analysis and data envelopment analysis(DEA)to evaluate and compare the technological innovation of TCM industry,chemical medicine industry,biological medicine industry,medical instrument and equipment industry and communication equipment industry.Finally,according to the results of empirical analysis,the paper puts forward the corresponding suggestions to help promote technology innovation of TCM industry modernization,so as to promote the further development of TCM industry modernization.The research results of this paper enrich the quantitative research on the modernization of TCM industry and the research on the evaluation index system of the technological innovation.And it provides a new idea for the evaluation of the TCM industry modernization and put forward upgrading path thus promoting the further development of the TCM industry modernization.
