Research On Multi-project Management Strategies Based On PMO

China is in a period of accelerated industrialization and urbanization.With the expansion of the urban population and the increase in the number of motor vehicles,urban road congestion has intensified,residents have daily travel difficulties,and the urban transportation system is gradually overwhelmed.Urban rail transit,the subway we are used to calling,is an effective means to alleviate the pressure of urban transportation.In recent years,the subway has become an important part of transportation development in large cities.As of the end of 2018,35 cities in mainland China have opened urban rail transit,with a total of 185 operating lines and a total length of5761.4 kilometers.The massive construction of urban rail drives the rapid development of urban rail vehicle equipment manufacturing industry.Under the huge domestic market demand,it has spawned a large number of upstream and downstream enterprises in the entire industrial chain.Following the generation,our urban rail vehicles have been exported to many countries around the world,becoming a shiny business card made in China.The urban rail vehicle equipment manufacturing industry is a high-end equipment manufacturing industry.As a strategic emerging industry and a new infrastructure industry,it is responsible for China's mission from a manufacturing power to a manufacturing power.The healthy development of the urban rail industry is related to the safety of urban public transportation and the orderly construction of cities.Due to factors such as corporate background and industry characteristics,many domestic urban rail vehicle equipment manufacturing companies are rapidly developing,and there are generally problems of backward project management and lack of multi-project management.As a high-end equipment manufacturing industry,the design and development link occupies an important position in project execution.In the face of multi-project parallel design and development,enterprises in the industry generally face difficulties.The hidden dangers in the design link will directly affect the safe development of public transportation and the orderly construction of cities.Through consulting the data,it is found that the literature on multi-project management in the design and development link of the urban rail vehicle equipment manufacturing industry is relatively rare.It is necessary to combine the characteristics of the industry to solve the multi-project management problem in its design link.This paper takes the brake development department of the company Z,the urban rail vehicle equipment manufacturing company as the research object,and analyzes the six reasons for the multi-project management problems in the design of the urban rail brake system through interviews with each other and situation investigation.Based on the project management office(Project Management Office,PMO)theory,this paper describes the optimization strategy applicable to urban rail vehicle equipment manufacturing enterprises.The research results of this paper can help enterprises improve quality and efficiency,and have certain reference significance for enterprises in the same industry.
