Research On The Economic Relations Of Central China From The Persepective Of Value Added Trade

The continuous deepening of global production integration has promoted the research on value chain issues into a new research hotspot,which has attracted widespread attention from many scholars.However,there are many shortcomings in traditional trade statistics,the most significant of which is the problem of double counting.In order to solve this problem,the research content of value chain issues has gradually shifted to the study of value-added trade in the value chain as the core.The value chain research issues mentioned in this article are based on value-added trade.Since the 21 st century,with the transformation of traditional inter-industry trade to a new type of value chain trade,China's integration into the global division of labor system has gradually nurtured and developed domestic value chains,with the emergence of economic development cooperatives with provinces as elements.The six central provinces as China's population regions,economic hinterland and important markets,their economic development have always been deeply concerned by the country.Accelerating the economic development of the central region is one of the major strategic measures to improve the competitiveness of the country.It has a decisive role in promoting the integration of east and west,the integration of north and south,and the development of regional economies.In this context,it is of far-reaching significance to promote China's economic growth by examining the regional economic linkages of the six provinces in the central region with the help of value-added trade analysis in the value chain study.This article takes "the economic relations among the six central provinces" as the research object,and studies its regional economic relations under the transformation of "integration of production".The research purpose of this article is to explore the relevance of various regions in the regional economy of the six central provinces by using the analysis of value-added trade in the value chain research and the economic correlation of the relevant regions in the context of production integration.Based on the purpose of the research,the research content of this article is described: first,the introduction of related concepts and literature review,including related concepts of value chain,value-added trade,regional associations,etc.Relevant studies are summarized.Second,the input-output tables of provinces from 2002 to 2012 are used to compile interregional input-output tables.The specific compilation processincludes four steps: industry consolidation,transfer of data elimination,transfer of data allocation,and final data leveling.Then,based on the compiled interregional input-output tables,the value-added of the six central provinces is decomposed,and the inter-provincial economic linkages of the six central provinces are analyzed.Finally,the regional economic linkages of the six central provinces are discussed.Analyze from three levels,first,inter-provincial value-added trade,and use the input-output model to decompose it,and analyze the provinces' participation in regional value chains and the length of production;the second is to interpret regional economic associations in the six central provinces by calculating forward associations,backward associations,spatial associations,and their changing trends;the third is the analysis from industry-related feature in six central provinces,through the inter-provincial trade multiplier,spill,feedback effects and trends reveals the extent of economic exchanges between the six central provinces.Based on the research on the above contents,this article analyzes the economic relations among the six central provinces from three aspects: the decomposition of value-added trade,the economic relations between the six central provinces,and the economic relations among various industries of the various regions in the six central provinces.It clarified the provinces and industries that played an important role in the cooperative development of the six central provinces,and pointed out the direction for the further development of the regional cooperative economy in the six central provinces.To improve the overall level of economic growth in the six central provinces,attention should be focused on economic exchanges between Henan,Anhui and the remaining provinces,while strengthening the links between Shanxi,Hubei,and the rest of the province,and focus on manufacturing and construction industries.
