The employees silence behavior is common in organizations,mainly because employees are affected by various of factors and choose to remain silent about certain problems or ills in the organizations and retain their opinions or ideas.Trust in supervisor refers to the trust that leaders have in their employees.Although it is subjective,it plays a vital role in the establishment of corporate culture.Self-efficacy is a degree of self-awareness and perception of the self.It is often reflected in the employee's confidence in completing a certain task.It directly affects the employee's exercise of subjective initiative and its own level of performance.This study focuses on the analysis of the influence mechanism among trust in supervisor,employee silence behavior and self-efficacy.Based on the review of existing domestic and foreign literature and the reality of Chinese society,this study selects three dimensions,including tacit silence,defensive silence and indifferent silence,and build a research model based on this.At the same time,this research integrates and forms a questionnaire based on the mature scales developed and used by scholars in the past.The questionnaire survey is conducted on employees of Chinese enterprises and institutions.In this study,the data analysis software is used to analyze the recovered data and test the research hypothesis,and finally reach the conclusion of the study.Based on the research conclusions,this study provides the following enlightenments and suggestions for managers.First,improving the level of trust in supervisor is conducive to reducing the occurrence of employee silence behaviors.Leaders can improve their management through continuous learning.Strengthen the communication links in the organization to strengthen the trust in the organization.Second,in the selection of managers,in addition to focusing on their own skills and qualities,they should also pay attention to the investigation of their personal qualities,communication and listening ability,which helps to establish an organizational culture with trust as the core within the organization.Third,organizations such as enterprises should establish a sound decision-making mechanism that includes employee participation,collective discussion,risk assessment,and rationality demonstration to provide employees with a platform and channel to reduce their silence.
