Facing the changes of economic and social development,"996" has become a new working norm for contemporary employees. This not only means that a large number of employees are under high work pressure constantly, but also that the excessive extension of working hours directly causes employees' sleep problems, making it an important factor that damages employees' health and work behavior. Therefore, the management and development of the organization will face greater challenges.Based on Conservation of Resource, this study proposed that employees' daily sleep status(including sleep duration and sleep quality)would affect their work engagement, and further affect their feedback seeking behavior and workplace procrastination behavior. The empirical sampling method was used to collect the data of 75 employees on two time points each day during five consecutive working days, and the data was analyzed by the multilevel structural equation model. The results showed that the sleep status in the previous night had no significant effect on the prediction of feedback seeking behavior through the work input of the next day, while the significant effect on the prediction of the workplace procrastination behavior of the next day was mainly reflected in the sleep duration, but not the sleep quality.Specifically, the sleep duration of the previous night can positively predict the work engagement state of employees the next day,and work engagement can also negatively predict the subsequent workplace procrastination behaviors of employees,in which work engagement can play a mediating role.Based on the above results,we believes that in the context of sleep loss, the effect of sleep duration may be more prominent.Meanwhile, the state of work engagement plays an important role in the relationship between sleep duration and work behavior. In general, this study supports Conservation of Reaource to a certain extent and provides empirical evidence of the dynamic relationship between the corresponding variables. At the same time, based on the results of this study,we also call on organizations and individual employees to pay more attention to the issue of sleep adequacy in their work practices and improve their sleep conditions. In addition, the resources of the organization and individuals are supplemented to jointly help improve work engagement, increase employees' behaviors to improve performance and reduce work delay,so as to ensure the healthy growth and development of both the organization and individuals.
