| Innovation is an important source of national competitiveness.China has launched an innovation-driven development strategy in order to transform economic development and build a modern and powerful socialist state.However,due to the characteristics of innovation,such as high difficulty,high investment and high risk,as well as the limitation of innovation resources,innovation efficiency has become a major topic that the government and academia pay close attention to.Existing research shows that informatization has an important impact on improving innovation efficiency,but in fact,informatization does not directly play the role of innovation efficiency,but affects industrial innovation efficiency through the penetration of information technology and equipment in various links of the industrial innovation value chain.Therefore,the research on the impact of the integration of informatization and industrialization on industrial innovation efficiency is more in line with the objective facts.In all existing studies,linear models have been used to roughly describe the relationship between integration and innovation efficiency,but this approach is too rough to truly reflect the relationship between them.Thus,in order to effectively improve the efficiency of industrial innovation,it is crucial to reveal the influence mechanism of integration of industrialization and industrialization on industrial innovation efficiency by scientific methods.On the basis of consulting the literature,this paper analyzes the basic mechanism of the integration of informatization and industrialization and industrial innovation efficiency.At the same time,considering that the integration and industrial innovation are all in a certain socio-economic environment,and also affected by this environment,this paper further analyzes the impact of economic development level,information infrastructure level,economic openness,ownership structure and industrial technology level on the role of integration of informatization and industrialization in industrial innovation efficiency.Based on this,panel data from 30 provinces and cities in mainland China(excluding Tibet)from 2013 to 2017 were selected as samples to establish a basic linear regression model to examine the linear relationship between the integration and industrial innovation,and then to construct a threshold regression model,which aims at examining the threshold effect of integration of informatization and industrialization on industrial innovation efficiency at different levels of a certain socio-economic condition.The regression results show that the integration ofinformatization and industrialization and industrial significantly promotes the efficiency of industrial innovation,and has a threshold effect,which means,with the improvement of information infrastructure and industrial technology,the promotion of integration of informatization and industrialization on the efficiency of industrial innovation has been significantly improved twice;with the advancement of ownership structure,economic development,and economic openness,the facilitating role of integration of informatization and industrialization to industrial innovation efficiency has gained a significant improvement. |
