Research On Working Capital Management Of Y Company Based On Supply Chain Perspective

Working Working capital is indispensable in the daily operation of a company.The level of working capital management,which involves a company's purchasing,production and sales,exerts great impact on a company's profitability.Thus research on working capital evaluation and management is of great significance.In recent years,with the integration of supply chain theory and channel theory into working capital management,research on capital management has made advances.However,the theory of innovation in working capital management needs to be further developed.There is an urgent need for research on working capital combined with operation flow.The Y company chosen as the research case in this article is a pharmaceutical company which manufactures traditional Chinese medicine,biological products and health care products.Through the analysis of the company's operating capital based on the perspective of supply chain during the past five years,main issues exposed.The enterprise is faced with issues including the failure to rationalize the procurement plan,the unscientific supplier selection and evaluation mechanism,and the low degree of information sharing in the procurement process;inefficient production mode,not forward-looking quality management and the extensive production scheduling plan in the production process;unscientific customer credit management and grading system and simple sales channel in the sales process.Thus the paper proposes the company to establish the mode of "company + base + peasant household",improve the supplier selection and evaluation mechanism;and construct the information-based procurement process.Also,the company needs to enhance the production mode,implement the total quality management,and optimize the production scheduling according to the production cycle;strengthen customer credit management and classification management,and expand marketing channels.By summarizing the relevant experience of working capital management of company Y,this article provides corporate managers with the information needed to make decisions.By analyzing working capital management based on supply chain perspective,this paper provides a reference for optimizing the management of working capital.This paper proposes improvement measures in order to be able tofind new scientific methods for the performance evaluation of the management of corporate operating funds in the pharmaceutical industry and provides a case study for the corporate working capital management work based on the perspective of the supply chain.
