| As the forerunner zone of innovation and development in the west region and strategic support of the Yangtze River Economic Belt,Cheng-Yu City Cluster is an important part of carrying out China's innovation-driven strategy.“The Cheng-Yu City Cluster Development Plan 2016-2020” emphasizes that it is necessary to strengthen the radiating driving force of Chongqing and Chengdu,to integrate innovative resources,to build a regional synergy innovation system,and to form a coordinated development pattern of large,medium and small cities with the support of innovation.In the process of implementing the innovation driven development strategy,two problems should be paid attention to: one is the choice of innovation form,and the other is the effect of innovation activities.Compared with the traditional from of innovation,synergy innovation can better integrate innovative elements to innovative production,improve the innovation performance of Cheng-Yu City cluster.Synergy innovation is a process of innovation.Enterprises,universities,research institutions,governments and financial institutions organize within the innovation system,by the mean of synergy,organizing and coordinating their own innovative elements and resources in order to improve the innovation performance.In addition,as each city is not an independent closed system,the innovation activities in the region will be affected by the related cities.Therefore,based on combing relevant literature about synergy innovation,innovation performance and regional innovation spatial relevance,this paper combs the research framework of the article and puts forward the following three specific problems: first,how does synergy innovation affect the innovation performance of the Cheng-Yu City Cluster? What is the mechanism? Second,what is the level of innovation performance of Cheng-Yu City Cluster? What is the level of synergy innovation of the cities.Third,can synergy innovation promote the improvement of innovation performance of Cheng-Yu City Cluster? Based on the analysis of the mechanism of synergy innovation affecting the innovation performance of City Cluster,this paper uses the panel data of Cheng-Yu City Cluster in 2012-2017,measures synergy innovation and innovation performance,Under the conditions of spatial correlation,this paper analyzes impact of synergy innovation on the innovation performance of Cheng-Yu City Cluster by using spatial panel model,in order to improve the innovation performance of Cheng-Yu City Cluster.After empirical analysis,the conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)the level of the synergy innovation of the innovative subject is not high in the Cheng-Yu City Cluster innovation system.(2)the innovation performance of Cheng-Yu City Cluster was low,and the value of innovation performance among cities in Cheng-Yu City Cluster was quite different.(3)In the process of synergy innovation,The technology funding from governments and financial institution have improved the innovation performance of Cheng-Yu City Cluster.Synergy innovation between scientific research institutions and enterprises is conducive to the improvement of the innovation performance of Cheng-Yu City Cluster,while the collaborative innovation between universities and enterprises has inhibited the innovation performance of Cheng-Yu City Cluster.(4)The innovation activities of the cities in Cheng-Yu City Cluster are significantly correlated in space,and the inter-city flows of innovative factors such as R&D personnel and R&D funds are conductive to the innovation performance of Cheng-Yu City Cluster.(5)the regional economic development level and regional industrial structure have an impact on the innovation performance of Cheng-Yu City Cluster.The regression coefficient of regional economic development level is positive,indicating that improving the level of regional economic development is conducive to promoting the innovation performance of Cheng-Yu City Cluster;the regression coefficient of regional industrial structure is negative,indicating that regional industrial structure has inhibited the innovation performance of Cheng-Yu City Cluster to some extent.According to the research conclusions,this paper put forward policy recommendations in three aspects such as improving the level of synergy innovation,playing the effect of spatial correlation,and creating a good regional environment in order to provide some theoretical support and realistic reference for the improvement of the overall innovation performance of Cheng-Yu City Cluster. |
