With the development of social economy and the increasing of population, human on the degree of looting the natural resources to grow, which makes the same life the survival of other species on the earth environment is destroyed, such as the suitable living environment of wildlife is shrinking, the species number in the fall, the Asian elephant is one of the representative. The Asian elephant is one of the most endangered species in China.Currently,it only exists in part of yunnan province, and xishuangbanna is one of its main areas. As the work of Asian elephants to protect its population has increased, but the existing major problems are the suitable habitat area of Asian elephants are shrinking habitat habitat degradation, nature reserve of internal due to excessive protection of the environment against Asian elephants live feed, coupled with the expansion of land reclamation of human life, lead to serious overlapping Asian elephants activity area and human activity area, causing more and more Asian elephants into villages and farmland, destruction of property, eating trample field crops, caused serious loss situation, make the residents of Asian elephants have hatred,This will not be conducive to the protection of Asian elephants.Research work in alleviating people like conflict, conflict of xishuangbanna people like regional conflict zone distribution study, which can be learned that Asian elephants activity zone line rule, even to provide important basis for Asian elephants protection work, and people like the location of the conflict law of the characteristics of land use type can learn that the Asian elephant feeding habitat preferences, can be appropriate adjustment of crop planting structure to reduce the Asian elephants damage to the crop losses, these are to alleviate people like conflict and to adjust land use overall aspect of the work to provide according to the research. However,it is not only necessary to take measures from the overall scope to alleviate the conflicts between human and elephant, but also to treat them accurately.Different residential areas with different damage degrees of objects and different measures should be taken.Among them, optimizing the layout of residential areas is an important measure to alleviate the conflicts between human and elephant People like conflict zones in the conflict of suitability evaluation of residential area,in view of xishuangbanna district mountainous hilly actual situation such as suitable evaluation system, constructing scientific and reasonable evaluation of the compensation of residential living suitability, combined with the compensation of be or get out of danger degree of residential areas, puts forward corresponding optimization layout scheme for different residential areas,It can not only reduce or even avoid the loss caused by Asian elephants, but also improve the living environment of these settlements,so as to achieve the dual effects of poverty reduction and protection of Asian elephants.According to this, this article use the Pacific insurance company branch of yunnan province in 2011-2016 Asian elephants insurance claims data to get people like conflict settlement information, and the corresponding point in the xishuangbanna administrative figure formed people like conflict(figure, will people like conflict(figure respectively with xishuangbanna digital elevation model(DEM)and the superposition of xishuangbanna land use type data analysis to xishuangbanna people like conflict distribution characteristic; In this paper, the residential suitability evaluation of human and elephant conflicts is carried out,and the results of the residential suitability evaluation are combined with the data of the degree of danger of the residential area,so as to put forward the optimization plan of the layout of the residential area with danger. The main conclusions of the above research are as follows:(?)The superposition analysis of the distribution points of human elephant conflicts with the digital elevation model(DEM)of xishuangbanna shows that the distribution points of human elephant conflicts are the obvious river valleys or low-lying gullies along the river system in the active zone of Asian elephants, forming a relatively obvious fixed activity zone.(?)By superimposing the distribution of human elephant conflicts and the land use types in Xishuangbanna,it is concluded that the proportion of cultivated land in the risk area is 74.91%,the proportion of orchard land is 13.36%,the proportion ofrubber forest is 10.1%,and the proportion of other gardens and tea gardens 1.59% and0.05%;further statistical analysis of the main crop losses in each land use,the loss proportions are: 41.54% corn,24.55% bananas,9.47% rubber,9.36% rice,Sugarcane accounts for 9.21%,coffee accounts for 4.81%,tea accounts for 0.53%,soybeans account for 0.27%,and peanuts account for 0.26%.(?)The suitability evaluation of the residential areas where human and elephant conflicts occur shows that the proportion of points not suitable for residents accounts for 19.30%,the proportion less suitable for residential areas accounts for30.41%,the proportion more suitable for residential areas accounts for 30.99%,and the proportion of suitable residential areas accounts for 19.30%.Combining the residential suitability of residential areas with the number of risks, the following layout optimization scheme is proposed: Of them uninhabitable and the compensation of the 15 times more residential areas need to be ecological relocation, inhospitable to compensation of fewer or less suitable for compensation of a lot of 27 settlement proposal and move on,other settlement arrangement are given as measures, adjusting planting structure, alleviate people like conflict solution suggestion.
