With the acceleration of economic globalization and the development of science and technology,international competition is unprecedented fierce.As the big manufacturing plant of the world,the biggest gap between China and developed countries is product quality.Therefore,in order to cope with the tremendous changes in the competitive environment and integrate into the global market in an all-round way,enterprises must establish advanced quality management concepts and improve the quality of products and services.Performance Excellence Model(PEM)is put forward on the basis of management theory and practice of the leading enterprises in the whole world.It is the standardization and concretization of Total Quality Management(TQM).It is of great significance for building an effective enterprise quality performance management system,improving enterprise's overall management ability and enhancing enterprise's international competitiveness to do in-depth research and analysis on PEM and implement the advanced ideas and operation mode of PEM.This paper takes L Corporation,a traditional condiment manufacturer,as the research object,introduces the research and application status of PEM at home and abroad,focuses on the content of PEM,analyzes the internal and external environment of the company's PEM in detail by using PEST and Porter's Five Force Model.According to?Criteria for Performance Excellence?(GB/T 19680-2012)and Guidelines for the implementation of National Quality Awards,we take a pre-construction evaluation,it's mainly includes seven aspects: leadership,strategy,customer and market,resources,process management,measurement,analysis and improvement,and results.Pre-construction evaluation is carried out to analyze the challenges and problems faced by L Company.Through the study of the enterprise building an example of PEM and following up the implementation process of the company,especially the key points,methods and problems that need to be avoided in the implementation of the specific application,the author focuses on strengthening theweak links of the enterprise's PEM,using systematic methods to strengthen the management of all aspects of the enterprise and improve its core competitiveness so as to achieve excellent organizational performance.This paper draws a conclusion through research: The effective application of PEM has significantly improved the management level of enterprises,promoted enterprises to continuously pursue excellence,and achieved management level in the leading position in the same industry.It also has important implications for Time-honored Brand enterprise to to improve their overall management level and business performance,and to achieve brand transformation and upgrading.
