With the rapid development of national economy,the economic development difference between regions has become a common economic problem,and the regions with more prominent regional economic differences have attracted the attention of government decision makers and economic researchers.To achieve the balanced development of regional economy has become the core issue of regional economic differences research.Therefore,this paper takes 14 Prefecture Cities in Xinjiang as the research object.First,taking per capita GDP as the index,by using the absolute and relative difference calculation methods,the regional economic differences of 14 Prefecture Cities in Xinjiang are calculated and analyzed.Finally,in order to confirm the influencing factors of regional economic growth in Xinjiang,the classic Cobb is used-Douglas production function expansion formula,construction of econometric model,selection of indicators reflecting economic differences in each region per capita GDP,regional per capita fixed asset investment,regional human capital,urbanization rate and regional industrial output value,population density and foreign trade,etc.,using panel data to conduct empirical regression analysis and put forward corresponding shrinkage around the factors affecting economic growth The suggestion of realizing the balanced development of each region by the difference of small economic growth.After the research,the following conclusions are drawn:1.From the perspective of the economic development of each region,the overall economic strength of Xinjiang is increasing year by year,and the living standards of residents are also improved correspondingly.The economic development,social welfare and living standards of residents in each region of Xinjiang are quite different.The regional economic development shows an unbalanced development trend,and the per capita GDP difference between each region is very obvious.2.From the calculation results of the absolute and relative differences of per capita GDP,the absolute differences of per capita GDP in the prefecture and city of Xinjiang are expanding,and the relative differences of per capita GDP are narrowing.3.From the empirical regression analysis results of panel data ofinfluencing factors,the influence degree and effect of each influencing factor on economic growth in different regions are different.The influence degree of each factor on the economic growth of different regions is as follows: the regional per capita fixed asset investment has an impact on the regional economic growth of the whole Xinjiang,the North Xinjiang and the South Xinjiang,of which the impact on the economic growth of the North Xinjiang is the largest and the impact on the economic growth of the South Xinjiang is the smallest.Regional human capital has an impact on the regional economic growth of Xinjiang,North Xinjiang and South Xinjiang,of which the impact on the economic growth of Xinjiang is the largest and the impact on the economic growth of South Xinjiang is the smallest.The urbanization rate has an impact on the regional economic growth of the whole Xinjiang,the North Xinjiang and the South Xinjiang.The total output value of regional industry has an impact on the regional economic growth of northern,Eastern and southern Xinjiang,of which the impact on the economic growth of Northern Xinjiang is the largest and the impact on the economic growth of Southern Xinjiang is the smallest.Population density has an impact on the regional economic growth of Xinjiang,Dongjiang and Nanjiang,of which the impact on the economic growth of Dongjiang is the largest and the impact on the economic growth of Xinjiang is the smallest.Foreign trade has an impact on the regional economic growth of northern,Eastern and southern Xinjiang,of which the impact on the economic growth of Northern Xinjiang is the largest and the impact on the economic growth of eastern Xinjiang is the smallest.
