Research On Financial Support For Agriculture Development In Zhangye City

The "three rural issues" is a fundamental issue of national economy and people's livelihood.Agriculture is the core of the "three rural issues" and the industrial future of economic and social development.Doing a good job in agricultural development is of great significance to effectively respond to various risks and challenges,and ensure the sustained and healthy development of the economy and the stability of the overall social situation.The 2020 Central Document No.1 proposes to guarantee the effective supply of important agricultural products and promote the continued increase in farmers' income.Its core is to stabilize grain production and accelerate agricultural development.The development of agriculture is not only related to the food and clothing of the people throughout the country,but also to the development of other industries.The development of agriculture is inseparable from the support of finance.The stability and development of financial institutions are the guarantee and premise of sustainable agricultural development.Zhangye City,as a large agricultural city,is a provincial hightech agricultural demonstration area in Gansu Province.Therefore,it is of great significance to analyze the financial support of Zhangye's agricultural development.Based on the existing research literature at home and abroad,this article uses a combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,taking agricultural credit subsidy theory,rural financial market theory,incomplete competition theory,and the relationship between financial support and agricultural development as the theoretical basis.Calculate the overall level of agricultural development in Zhangye by establishing an index system for agricultural evaluation through factor analysis.Using a linear regression model with financial support data as independent variables and the overall level of agricultural development in Zhangye as the dependent variable,an empirical study on financial support restricting agricultural development in Zhangye was made.The study found that the financial support of Zhangye City did not provide sufficient support for agricultural development.The main reasons for restricting Zhangye 's financial support for agricultural development include: inadequate risk control mechanisms,the contradiction between weak agriculture and profit-seeking financial institutions,the lack of interest compensation mechanisms,and the monopoly of rural financial markets.On this basis,the following countermeasures are proposed to increase the government's efforts to support agriculture,improve the financial support system,actively expand financing channels,and improve the level of financial services to promote Zhangye City's financial support for agricultural development.
