Research On The Development Potential Evaluation Of Tourism Characteristic Towns

In the context of socialism with Chinese characteristics entering a new era,the development of new-type urbanization in China is continuously advancing.The proposal and construction of characteristic towns provide a new path for China's current new-type urbanization development and economic transformation and upgrading.Tourism characteristic towns,as an important type in the construction of characteristic towns,have an important role in promoting the exploration of new urbanization roads and rural revitalization.After the vigorous construction of tourism characteristic towns in recent years,a number of small towns with tourism-oriented development,significant industrial characteristics,livable and prosperous and vibrant towns have been cultivated in various places,and have shown good economic benefits.And demonstration role,but at the same time there are also a series of problems in some areas during the construction of tourism characteristic towns blindly follow the trend,eager to achieve success,positioning is not accurate,etc.,resulting in the development of some tourism characteristic towns lack of capacity,The regional economic development cannot be promoted in a healthy form.Therefore,in order to avoid blindly following the construction of tourist characteristic towns in various places and to find out effective ways to improve the future development capacity of tourist characteristic towns that are already under construction,it is necessary to study the development potential of tourism characteristic towns.This study summarizes and sorts out the research results related to characteristic towns,tourism characteristic towns,and tourism development potentials.Based on the current development status of tourism characteristic towns,this research focuses on the development of tourism industries,regional socio-economic development environment,and tourism development.The factors that affect the development potential of tourism characteristic towns are discussed in three aspects of guarantee conditions;on the basis of summing up the influencing factors,referring to relevanttheories in tourism and geography,and consulting relevant expert opinions,from the industrial development potential and tourism development potential Based on the three dimensions of development and development guarantee potential,an index system for the evaluation of the development potential of tourism characteristic towns was constructed,and the index weights were calculated using expert scoring and AHP.Following this,three provincial tourism characteristic towns of Mile Keyi town,Lubuge Buyi style town and Pingbian Dishui Miaocheng in Yunnan Province were selected as case studies.First,the development of each tourism characteristic town was analyzed.The current situation,and then using the multi-objective linear function method in statistics to evaluate the development potential of three tourism characteristic towns and detailed analysis of the development potential evaluation results at various levels in the indicator system,the results show that: in the three towns,The town of Mile Keyi town has the highest development potential value,followed by the Lubuge Buyi style town,and Pingbian Dishui Miaocheng has the lowest development potential score.Finally,based on a detailed analysis of the evaluation results of the development potential of each level of the three tourist characteristic towns,From the aspects of industrial development,tourism development,and improvement of town system functions,it proposes suggestions for improving the development potential of the three tourism characteristic towns.
