With the "One Belt One Road" as the main body of the "Ancient Silk Road" became the national strategy,the social attention of linear cultural heritage represented by the "Silk Road" and "Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal" has been increasing.Nowadays,research on the spatiotemporal behavior of tourists has become a hotspot in the study of tourism geography.However,the literature on the spatiotemporal behavior of tourists in linear cultural heritage tourist destinations in China is relatively insufficient.This study uses the Hangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal as a case study.Based on crawling Ctrip.com,where to go to travel websites,travel notes and reviews of tourists,and field-time visitor behavior data collected from field surveys as the main research data,tourist questionnaire data,and “keep”mobile phone customers The "walking" data at the end is used as auxiliary research data,and the methods of network text analysis and nuclear density analysis are used to study the spatiotemporal behavior of tourists in the Hangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.The research results on the spatiotemporal behavior of tourists on the Hangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal show that:(1)The number of tourists visiting the Hangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal from 2015 to2019 has shown an upward trend,and the annual values have fluctuated slightly.The largest number;(2)The number of tourist visits in the Hangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal is higher in May,September,and November,and lower in January,February,and December;(3)Tourists visit the Grand Canal in Hangzhou The historical and cultural districts / old towns,heritage sites and other scenic spots in the section are of higher interest,and they are less interested in museums and cultural parks.(4)Tourists in characteristic blocks,shops,viewing trails and other types of landscapes arranged along the river in the Hangzhou section of the Hangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal are significantly more popular than other types of landscapes in other areas of the scenic spot.The results of the comprehensive case study show that the rules of thespatiotemporal behavior of tourists in linear cultural heritage tourism destinations are:(1)Tourists in small and medium scale linear cultural heritage tourist sites gather mainly in the areas along the cultural heritage and gradually spread to other surrounding areas;(2)When tourists visit small and medium scale linear cultural heritage tourist sites,they tend to Gathering of scenic spots with unique cultural atmosphere;(3)Historical and cultural blocks / old towns,heritage sites and other similar types of scenic spots in the small and medium scale linear cultural heritage tourist destinations have the highest concentration of tourists.Finally,this article puts forward reasonable suggestions for the development of linear cultural heritage tourism destinations based on the existing research conclusions.
