Research On Problems And Countermeasures Of The New Think Tanks In Xuzhou

Think tanks are a vital element of a nation's soft power,an important component of governance system and capacity for modernization,and a significant force to improve the scientific and democratic level of government policy-making.In recent years,Xuzhou Municipal Party Committee and government have been vigorously developing new think tanks.By way of constructing platforms,building mechanisms,attracting talents and promoting implementation,the development pattern of think tanks characterized with sound organization,wide coverage and scientific operation has been gradually established.However,compared with the advanced regions,its development in Xuzhou lags behind,thus leading to a big gap in the respect of the organizational structure,theoretical achievements and resource strength,which are unable to satisfy the demands of the new situation and requirements of the development of Xuzhou.Therefore,based on the research samples of Xuzhou think tanks and the research theories of think tanks at home and abroad,this thesis sorts out the development history of Xuzhou think tanks,systematically analyzes the existing problems and shortcomings in its construction process,the unreasonable organizational form,the imperfect think tank platform,the uneven development of think tanks,and the difficulty of the performance of think tanks,analyze the underlying causes of the problem,and puts forward countermeasures from the aspects of strengthening the top-level design,enforcing the platform construction,optimizing the development environment,and perfecting the system and mechanism to strengthen its construction.The paper has 4 figures,2 tables and 53 references.
