In recent years,due to the increasing awareness of the importance of internal management,more and more small and medium enterprises have paid more attention to performance appraisal.But the small and medium-sized enterprises by its own size,concept and other factors constraints,the effectiveness of its performance evaluation is often unsatisfactory.Therefore,it is an important problem for many small and medium-sized enterprises to solve the knotty problems in performance appraisal so as to maximize the potential of employees.In this paper,TS Company is taken as the research object.Firstly,the basic theoretical knowledge of performance appraisal system is briefly described by using the method of literature research.Secondly,through questionnaires and interviews,this paper investigates and analyzes the implementation of current performance appraisal in TS Company.In this process,this paper found that TS Company's performance appraisal has the following problems: First,the formulation of TS Company's performance plan lacks effective communication,employees' awareness of the performance plan is low,and the formulation of performance plan objectives is not in conformity with the routine.Second,the performance appraisal cycle is too long,the appraisal index setting is unscientific,and the index selection is relatively single.Third,the performance plan lacks a communication and feedback mechanism after performance evaluation;Fourth,the application of performance results is relatively single.After summarizing the problems existing in the performance appraisal of TS Company,this paper puts forward specific suggestions for optimizing the performance appraisal system of TS Company according to the development strategy and objectives of TS Company.First,the Company should actively involve all levels of personnel in the formulation of the performance plan and jointly communicate,discuss and reach a consensus.In addition,it should conduct publicity and training on the performance appraisal for all employees so that the personnel of the Company have a unified and correct understanding of the performance appraisal.Second,the company should optimize the assessment cycle according to the characteristics of the light and busy seasons of the overseas study industry,use KPI tools,and adopt different assessment indicators for different positions,so as to better reflect the performance of employees.Third,the company should establish an effective feedback mechanism for performance communication,so as to help employees define their work objectives,improve their work behaviors,and improve their work efficiency and skills.Fourth,the company should establish an effective incentive mechanism to strengthen the application of performance results in multiple dimensions,so as to give full play to the role of guiding employee behavior and encouraging employees.In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the optimization plan,the company should put forward a guarantee plan for landing.This paper optimizes and improves the performance appraisal system of TS company,improves the overall performance of TS company,which has certain reference value for the performance management of similar enterprises.
