In recent years,with the intensification of globalized market competition,the diversification of customer needs,and the development and progress of information technology,competition between enterprises has gradually transformed into competition between supply chains.Therefore,more and more companies regard the implementation of supply chain management as the core strategy to improve performance and enhance market competitiveness,and supply chain integration is considered by companies as the key to creating value in the supply chain.However,although many companies have benefited from the practice of supply chain integration,the dynamics and uncertainty of the environment in which the company is located are increasing,and companies need to respond to changes in the external environment in a timely manner and reasonably deploy and adjust resources and capabilities.strategy.However,some companies show path dependence or organizational inertia during operation,that is,strategic inertia will prevent the company from quickly integrating and reconfiguring its internal resources;thus weakening the company's ability to cope with the external environment.Facing these problems,strategic flexibility has gradually attracted widespread attention in the academic field of strategic management.As a kind of important resource exploration,transformation and utilization ability within the organization,strategic flexibility ability can't ignore the effect on enterprise performance.In addition,in the face of a complex and changing market environment,strategic flexibility as a dynamic capability can timely adjust and reconfigure internal and external resources of enterprises in accordance with changes in the external environment,so that companies can overcome strategic rigidity and continue to maintain good operating conditions and competitive advantages.To get excess profits.In view of the above background,this research takes manufacturing enterprises as the research object,based on the supply chain consolidation theory,resource-based theory,and dynamic capability theory,researches on the basic framework of “supply chain integration—strategic flexibility—enterprise performance”.An intermediary variable is developed,and its two-dimensionality(resource flexibility and capability flexibility)is studied in dimensionality,so as to build a relatively complete analysis model.Then empirical analysis is performed using 242 samples of manufacturing enterprises in East China,and based on the analysis Layer regression and Bootstrap test the hypotheses one by one.The results show that:(1)Supplier integration,customer integration,and internal integration all have a positive impact on corporate performance.(2)Internal integration has a significant positive effect on strategic flexibility,supplier integration has no significant positive effect on strategic flexibility,customer integration has a positive effect on capability flexibility,but has no significant effect on resource flexibility.(3)Strategic flexibility significantly promotes corporate performance.(4)Resource flexibility only has a significant part of the intermediary role between internal supply integration and corporate performance,but the intermediary role between supplier integration,customer integration and corporate performance is not significant;capacity flexibility is integrated in customer integration,internal integration and corporate performance there is also a significant part of the intermediary role,but the intermediary role between supplier integration and corporate performance is not significant.Through empirical analysis and discussion of hypothesis test results,the following management implications are proposed for manufacturing companies: Companies need to pay more attention to the important role played by supply chain integration,and continue to strengthen the organization in the process of adjustment and reform that promotes organic and flexible organizational structure The building of strategic flexibility capabilities,especially at the level of capability flexibility,promotes the good and effective transformation of enterprise resources and its healthy growth and development,and it is necessary to pay attention to the role of strategic flexibility in the integration of supply chains to improve corporate performance.
