Since the reform and opening up,China's economic prosperity and development,China has become the world's largest manufacturing country,the second largest economy,and the manufacturing industry has made great contributions.However,the rise of manufacturing industry not only brings the rapid development of economy,but also brings a lot of consumption of resources and energy and serious environmental pollution,which seriously restricts the sustainable development of our country.Therefore,our government proposes that economic development will change from high development to high-quality development,and high-quality development is to change our previous extensive mode of production,whose essence is to improve the green total factor productivity of manufacturing industry.Since the beginning of the last century,with the continuous development of information technology,scholars at home and abroad have gradually realized that there is a close relationship between information technology and economic growth.Scholars have launched in-depth discussion and Research on this.In this context,it is worth our attention to study the impact of informatization on green total factor productivity of manufacturing industry.This paper first combs the related literature of informatization and green total factor productivity,clarifies the related concepts of informatization and green total factor productivity,and analyzes in detail the theoretical mechanism of informatization affecting green total factor productivity from the perspective of input-output,technical efficiency and technological progress;then,on the basis of summarizing the measurement methods of informatization development level,the paper puts forward the concept of informatization and green total factor productivity Combining the informatization development index with the national informatization development level evaluation index system,this paper constructs the informatization development level index system of our country from four dimensions,calculates the informatization development level of our country with entropy method,analyzes the current situation of informatization development of our country in detail,summarizes the calculation method of green total factor productivity,and makes use of marquis index method The green total factor productivity of manufacturing industry is measured,and the current situation of green total factor productivity of manufacturing industry in China is analyzed.Finally,the provincial panel data from 2006 to 2017 is used to test the impact of informatization on green total factor productivity of manufacturing industry.The following conclusions are drawn:(1)the overall level of informatization development in China is gradually rising,and the level of informatization development in the eastern,central and western regions is also rising from the vertical perspective.From the horizontal comparison of the eastern,central and western regions,the level of informatization in the eastern region is far higher than that in the central and western regions,and the central and western regions The development level of the central region is slightly higher than that of the western region;(2)in terms of the overall average,the green total factor productivity of China's manufacturing industry is constantly improving.From the perspective of time,the differences between the East,the West and the East are relatively obvious.In the East,regardless of technological efficiency,technological progress or green total factor productivity,the improvement of technological progress and green total factor productivity in the central and western regions is not obvious from the perspective of average over the years,or even decline;(3)informatization for China's manufacturing technology Technological efficiency,technological progress and green total factor productivity all have significant positive effects;(4)Compared with improving technical efficiency to promote green TFP,the positive impact of informatization on green TFP is mainly achieved by promoting technological progress.The effect of improving green TFP by improving technical efficiency may be more obvious.Based on the above conclusions,this paper gives the following suggestions:(1)expand the ways and means of manufacturing enterprises to realize green development by means of information technology;(2)the government needs to give full play to the guiding and promoting role of informatization in improving green TFP of manufacturing industry;(3)improve green TFP according to local conditions;(4)establish and improve manufacturing industry by means of information technology Environmental assessment system;(5)Promote cooperation between enterprises and research institutions on green technology innovation.
