In recent years,with its rapid development,Internet finance is carrying out all-round competition with the traditional bank,which forces their grass-roots institutions to fall into a serious situation.Therefore,traditional banks must re-examine their advantages and disadvantages and accelerate the smart transformation and upgrading of branches.In 2018,NC Branch of Agricultural Bank launched a new-era branch transformation project.Centering on customer demand,the overall idea of the project is to innovate financial technology,transform the operation management,as well as comprehensively promote novel network with intelligentization,digitalization,lightweight operation,business integration,and online and offline integration.HC Subbranch also began the construction of smart network under the unified deployment of the NC branch.Focusing on HC Subbranch,this paper applies the theories of smart network,service marketing and incentive theories related to the transformation of smart network by combining qualitative and quantitative methods including literature research,interview,and case study.This paper at first analyzes the current situation and existing problems of HC subbranch of NC branch of agricultural bank of China and discusses the necessity of intelligent transformation.Then,it discusses the successful cases of bank branch transformation at home and abroad,draws on the excellent experience,and summarizes the enlightenment of HC subbranch branch transformation.Finally,this paper puts forward an optimized transformation plan oriented toward the direction of branch transformation,channel transformation,customer maintenance and expansion,and employee incentive.Specifically,the plan covers the following four aspects,First,to clearly position the transformation direction of smart network;Second,to optimize the transformation aimed at online and offline and internal operation of branches;Third,to attach importance to the comprehensive service marketing ability of employees,the regular maintenance of customers and establish outward marketing teams;Fourth,to optimize employee allocation,improve the compensation,and establish a spirit incentive mode based on job design.
