| Urban land is the material carrier for human beings to concentrate on production and life.Its efficiency utilization directly affects the sustainable development of urban social economy.Since the reform and opening up,with the rapid development of urbanization in China,urban development achievements have attracted worldwide attention.In 2018,the urbanization rate reached 59.98%.However,the rapid expansion of urban land not only occupies a lot of cultivated land and even ecological land around,but also the expansion space is not effectively developed,which makes the low efficiency of urban land contrary to the ecological civilization and high-quality livable city advocated by the new urbanization.Therefore,the rational,economical and intensive use of urban land has become the basic requirement of urban land in China.Gansu province is in one important channel of one belt,one road economic belt,and it has an important strategic position in the development of the western region.In 2018,the urbanization rate of Gansu Province reached 46.39%,far below the national average.At the same time,due to the differences of natural conditions,economic basis and institutional environment,the phenomenon of extensive use of urban land in Gansu Province still exists.Therefore,it is of great significance for the sustainable and high-quality development of urban land use in Gansu Province to scientifically and quantitatively recognize the temporal and spatial evolution of urban land use efficiency and its influencing factors.Firstly,the study introduces the research background,domestic and foreign research progress and related theories,and analyzes the current situation of urban land use in China and some provinces.Secondly,according to different types of urban land use,the inputoutput index is established,and DEA model is used to evaluate the land use efficiency of different types of urban land use.Then,according to the Theil index,the comprehensive efficiency of urban land use in Gansu Province is estimated,and then the temporal and spatial evolution characteristics of urban land use efficiency in Gansu Province are discussed.Finally,the paper selects the index of influencing factors,uses Tobit regression model to analyze the influencing factors of multi-scale urban land use efficiency in Gansu Province,and then puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The overall urban land use efficiency of Gansu Province is at a low level,theurban land use efficiency fluctuates frequently,and the overall trend is rising,and the difference is significant.Urban land use efficiency and its decomposition efficiency are increasing,and scale efficiency contributes more than pure technical efficiency.The spatial distribution of urban land use efficiency is significantly different,and the number of low and medium efficiency cities is increasing with the increase of years.The Theil index shows that the overall gap of urban land use efficiency shows an increasing trend.(2)The urban land use efficiency area of Gansu Province shows the grade difference characteristics of Hexi > Southern Ethnic Group > Longzhong > longsoutheast.The fluctuation of urban land use efficiency in different regions is quite different,and the overall trend is on the rise.The Taier index shows that the regional internal differences of urban land use efficiency show the characteristics of "Southeast Gansu > Hexi > Central Gansu > Southern Ethnic Groups",and the regional internal differences become the root cause of the formation of the overall regional gap.(3)The land use efficiency of different types of cities in Gansu Province from high to low is municipal facilities,trade logistics,road traffic,residential,industrial and public service land.Different types of urban land use efficiency differences are obvious in residential,industrial,public service and road traffic land;the difference is small in business logistics and municipal facilities land.The efficiency of urban land use is generally increased by residential land,slightly decreased by commercial and logistics land,and the other types of land use are increased or decreased.(4)The influencing factors of urban land use efficiency in Gansu Province are the level of economic development,scale and urbanization,the level of industrial structure and government management,the level of infrastructure and environmental factors.The influencing factors are different in different areas of Gansu Province,and the results are different in different areas,which shows that the influencing factors of the regional differences of urban land use efficiency in different areas are different. |
