Food is a human survival and reproduction of the basic conditions to maintain lifeand health, and food safety is an important working relationship with the livelihood ofthe people. In recent years, Driven by the rapid development of economy and society ofChina, and the continuous improvement of people’s living standards, the cateringservices as an important part of the tertiary industry has been rapidly developed.Different types of food and beverage companies continue to scale emerged, forming anew pattern of diversification to meet the people at multiple levels. While the rapiddevelopment of a variety of dietary needs, the catering services in the rapiddevelopment of food safety risks are increasing, there is a high security risk in foodservice industries because of its inherent characteristics, and because of the difficultiesand problems that exist in regulation; catering services food safety regulation hasbrought more challenges. Since frequent occurrence of food safety incidents cateringservices, issues of public security in food catering services industry has become one ofthe most concern.As an important part of food safety supervision, catering services industry is the lastlink of the food production process chain. It directly related to the safety of importedfood, so the regulation directly related to the food service industry healthy diet for themasses and physical security.This study was launched in the above context. This article is mainly based on thetheory of external characteristic, government functions and asymmetric informationtheory with the empirical analysis and comparative studies way. In the theoreticalsection first describes the background to the study, literature review and researchsignificance, in order to demonstrate the value, the significance of this study researchstatus and related issues, and introduces the concepts and theories related to food servicefood safety supervision, Then based on the theory, clear the main body of regulation、theregulatory object and the Regulatory means, Combining with the experience at home and abroad, to construct theoretical framework; The main empirical part of WujiangDistrict of Suzhou City analyzed on the basis of existing studies; analyzed theimportance and specificity of food service food safety supervision; investigated thestatus of food service food safety supervision of Wujiang District; analyzed problemsand causes of food service existing regulatory Wujiang District; by drawing on theexperience of foreign food service food safety supervision, From the following threeaspects, Perfecting the government regulation model, Improve the regulatory supplysystem and Strengthen social supervision function, made perfect Wujiang District foodservice food safety regulatory proposals and measures, which were in order to adjust thecatering services government laws and regulations, to transfer the government functions,and strengthen supervision catering services industry.
