| Many scientists, politicians and citizens of the world see Environmental Education (EE) as essential if a sustainable future for the planet is to be nurtured and created. Reducing barriers that prevent this education from reaching as broad an audience as possible must be a part of the process and one way might be to increase collaboration and networking between Environmental Educators. This study provides an assessment to determine the need for a Regional Environmental Education Network (REEN) in the Capital Regional District (CRD) on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The study takes feedback and suggestions from Environmental Educators and considers the need and possible framework for such a network. |
