Abstract/Summary:
This research document begins with an examination of the original intent of the Farm Bill and its adjustments or manipulations over time. It identifies the real and political necessity of the adjustments to frame exactly what the motives were at the time to modify it. It also uncovers factual data that is difficult to refute when making conclusions.;Scientific data is utilized to provide soundness, or the lack there of, to the claims of our elected leaders and representatives for pursuing this enduring program. World market and global climate are considered to further support the claims of this thesis. What becomes evident is that this thesis is compelling and may warrant further individual investigation, based on background, occupation, and political affiliation.
