The Job Demand-Control model was applied to the job descriptions of employees that submitted a short-term mental health disability claim. The level of demand and the level of control in the employees job description were analyzed. The sample consisted of employees from two different call center companies. Company A included 612 employees and Company B included 156 employees. Odds ratio analysis revealed for both Company A and Company B a statistically significant association between employee mental health short-term disability claims and employee level of demand and level of control in the workplace. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Mental health, Employee, Demand, Level, Job, Short-term, Disability | | Related items |
