| The Auditory (Consonant) Discrimination Test in Igbo assesses the Igbo speakers' ability to correctly perceive 27 of the 28 Igbo consonants at their most frequent places of occurrence in 27 pairs of lexical items in the Igbo language made up of similar and different pairs. The frequency of occurrence of Igbo phonemes, voiced/voiceless sounds, different places of articulation, manner of articulation, Igbo syllable patterns are also analyzed in this work. |
