Abstract/Summary:
This study examines the internationalization of sport management curriculums. One hundred twenty-eight graduate and undergraduate sport management programs from NASSM university directory were utilized in this study. The examination deals with four major concerns. These were (1) what schools offer an international course, (2) what levels (graduate or/and undergraduate) of the courses exist, (3) the type of courses exist, and (4) where the international courses are offered. Among the 128 schools, only 20 schools offer an international course in their curriculums. Seven sport management programs were housed in business schools, ten sport management programs were housed in colleges of education, and three sport management programs in other areas. The titles of international courses vary. Some schools offer the courses in different departments. Finally, the study examines the internationalization status of sport management curriculum status.
