Research On The Management Of International Students Coming To China From S College

The management of International students in China is an important part of the management of higher education in China.In recent years,under the background of frequent educational interaction in the world,with the rapid development of economy and the continuous improvement of international status of China,more and more international students choose to study in China,which activate more and more colleges and universities in China begin to actively develop the education of international students.The education of International students in China has shown a rapid development momentum.International students' education in China has always been an important part of S university's international development strategy,but in the actual development process,due to the particularity of student groups,such as cultural differences,heavy training tasks,high management difficulties,lagging management system and other issues have become increasingly prominent.Therefore,how to enlarge the scale of foreign students in China and improve the management level of international students is an important issue facing against S university at present.This thesis takes S university as the research object,carries on the overall research and design according to the general idea of "finding problems,analyzing reasons and putting forward countermeasures".Through ways of literature research,questionnaire survey and personnel interviews,it extensively collects opinions from three groups including foreign students,teachers and administrators of foreign students on teaching and daily life of S university students in China.The opinions and information collected are analyzed in detail.The results show that there are the following problems in the three dimensions of admission management,teaching management and life management of S university: in terms of admission,the competitive advantage of S university is not obvious compared with other universities,and the quality of admission source of foreign students in China is poor;in terms of classroom teaching,S university's training plan for foreign students in China is not scientifically enough.In daily life management,there are obstacles to cross-cultural communication between teachers and students in S university,and the self-management ability of students coming to China is low,and the management methods of students coming to China are inefficient.Based on the investigation and analysis of the above situation,this thesis combines relevant theoretical knowledge,and finally puts forward effective countermeasures and suggestions on the management of students from S university in China.It is suggested that the practical problems in the management of international students in S university can be solved by establishing admission criteria,creating marketing brands,optimizing professional training programs,speeding up the construction of teaching staff,improving cross-cultural management ability,building self-management mechanism for international students and establishing information-based student management platform.
