A three-mirror telescope was aligned using a method called the Sine Condition Test. The method uses on-axis measurements to characterize and align an optical system with a non-negligible field of view. The mirrors of the telescope were randomly perturbed and the system was realigned using a sub-group of the most sensitive degrees of freedom. Resultant data is presented alongside expectation based on software simulation. The alignment of complex optical systems using the Sine Condition Test has been shown experimentally to be achievable and predictable.
