Airport navigation lighting system is the necessary visual aids to ensure that the aircraft can be landing normally at night or in low visibility conditions, and it is closely related to the safe operation of the aircraft. CCR is the core equipment of navigation lighting system, and it determines stability and reliability of the lighting system. It is an important guarantee for the safe operation of the airport. For the Sine Wave CCR developed by Dalian Jiaotong University, the first generation made the functions of control, monitoring, insulation monitoring highly concentrated in a CPU, the risk is also highly concentrated, so the second generation of products are necessary to improve the electrical structure. We also need make significant improvements for display section Based on the overall improvement planning, we design a new operation and display part to realize highly independent of the CCR control unit, reliability of pure hardware and display and remote control functions of touch screen.The design includes three parts. The first part presents a LCD display program, making a single-chip as the core controller’s.We design a complete single-chip system, communication interface and hardware circuit of LCD screen interface, draw flowcharts and prepare SCM procedures. Through MODBUS protocol and RS232serial interface, the LCD communicates with DSP of control unit, and access display information of the interface needed. It completes various states and parameters of the real-time display of CCR. The second part is that we develope a touch-screen to display and remote control operation for CCR control unit, including designing a variety of monitoring screens, and completing the configuration screen and parameter settings. Via MODBUS protocol and RS232serial interface, it finishes communications with DSP of CCR monitoring unit, and it achieves the real-time display of the monitoring data, alarm protection, the number of bad light, lighting circuit insulation resistance and other important parameters, as well as remote control commands issued by dry contact. The third part is pure hardware circuit design of the native operating, including the switch of remote or local controlling, the switch of CCR lights on or off, the switch of five-speed light intensity,and reset button for protection. The signal controlls relay, and respectively provides dry contact signal for the control unit, monitoring unit, CCR switch cabinets.The design is an important and indispensable part for the new generation CCR, and it is of great significance to the reliability of the airport operation and the safety of aircraft landing.
