With the development of the automobile industry, new energy vehicles have moved from experimental research to sales markets.New energy vehicles not only have the functions of traditional cars, but also have higher emission standards, which helps reduce harmful gas emissions.China has begun to increase investment in research and development of new energy vehicles, and new energy vehicles have been widely promoted nationwide. However, the current market share of new energy vehicles is still insignificant.Relevant data show that the current penetration rate of new energy vehicle ownership in China is less than 2%.The development of new energy vehicles also faces many challenges.Due to the fierce competition, all new energy vehicle companies are facing serious problems in improving their business efficiency. If China's new energy automobile enterprises cannot continuously improve their economic and social benefits. At the national level,China's automobile industry will lose a chance to catch up with the new changes;from the perspective of the enterprise,it will not be able to take the lead in the upcoming development boom. Therefore,it is of practical significance to study the operating efficiency of new energy companies. This article first analyzes the overall development status of the new energy vehicle industry from the perspective of production and sales scale, policy support, and technical level, and explores and analyzes the problems facing the development of new energy vehicle enterprises. The results show that the current status of the industry facing new energy automobile companies is that the scale of production and sales is large, and the development prospect is good;changes in policy support and rapid technological development, and a weak environment are obvious. The development of new energy enterprises has problems such as over-reliance on subsidies, technology to be improved, weak innovation momentum, high production costs, and fuzzy strategic positioning.Secondly, the operational efficiency indicators of new energy automobile enterprises are determined.Among them, the input indicators are fixed assets, main business costs and the number of employees, the output indicators are net profit and main business income, and the environmental indicators are the number of years established, the size of the enterprise, and policy support Strength. Finally, the three-stage DEA model is used to demonstrate the operational efficiency of 50 new energy vehicle listed companies, and the evaluation results of each stage are analyzed. The results show that when the influence of environmental factors is not ruled out,the average comprehensive technical efficiency value of 50 new energy automobile companies in the sample period is 0.788,the overall operating efficiency is close to a high level, and the pure technical efficiency is the limiting factor;three factors such as policy support are excluded Under the influence of environmental indicators, the average efficiency of 50 new energy vehicle companies in the sample period has changed, and the comprehensive technical efficiency and scale efficiency have been significantly overestimated;the selected environmental indicators have a significant impact on new energy vehicle companies;SAIC The Group's operation efficiency is always effective and its operation management level is high.
