Varicose veins of the lower extremities are common among modern people.Those with genetic defects,who are engaged in manual labor,those who have been keeping sitting or standing,pregnant women,the obese and the old are in a high-risk.Wearing medical compression stockings(MCS)is a common and effective way for prevention,alleviation and treatment for the varicose veins.MCS is a kind of product,which provide compressive force to the legs in a bottom-up,gradually decreasing manner to help the venous blood flow smoothly back to the heart.It can prevent congestion,and treat the leg veins or lymphatic disease.As MCS is used more and more widely,performance problems are gradually exposed.There are two problems: First,the use of inappropriate levels and gradients of pressure results in poor treatment.Second,the using performance of the MCS is not good.Mainly reflected in the skin damage caused by the excessive friction,sultry and uncomfortable wearing experience caused by poor ventilation and wicking performance.Therefore,this paper combined the functionality and using performance of compression stockings,in order to improve the performance of the compression stockings,using graphene modified fibers to develop a new kind of MCS for longterm sedentary and standing women,such as white-collar workers and teachers.The paper mainly includes the following contents and results:(1)Development of graphene modified fiber compression stockingsThe development plan of graphene modified fiber compression stockings was determined from five aspects: fiber yarn,microstructure,weaving method,pressure grade and gradient,and specification size.The functional evaluation of the graphene modified fiber compression stockings was carried out.The pressure level and gradient distribution were tested when human body wearing graphene modified fiber compression stockings.The effects of yarn type,structure,weaving method and human body state on pressure distribution were analyzed.(2)Tribological performance test of graphene modified fiber compression stockingsThe simulated skin was made,and a test device using the Instron universal tester with installing an auxiliary test device was built.The friction factor between the graphene modified fiber stocking and the "skin" was tested.The results show that graphene modified fiber can effectively improve the friction performance of compression stockings.(3)Comfort evaluation of graphene modified fiber compression stockingsThe comfort performance of graphene modified fiber compression stockings was evaluated from objective and subjective evaluation.Objective experiments tested three indexes of gas permeability,moisture permeability and dynamic water transfer performance,and comprehensively weighted them to obtain a comprehensive moisture permeability index.Subjective evaluation evaluated the contact comfort of graphene modified compression stockings.The influence of different fiber combination methods on the moisture permeability wicking performance of the pressure stockings and the influence of the surface characteristics of the pressure socks on the overall wearing comfort are revealed.In this paper,the development of graphene modified fiber compression stockings were studied.The relationship between yarn type,structure and pressure performance was explored.The performance of friction and comfort was improved.Furtherly supplemented and improved the existing theory of compression stockings,and provided a better solution for people under high risk of varicose veins or leg fatigue.Providing theoretical support and data reference for the manufacturer.
