Research On Inventory Management Improvement Of SDSCM Company

Since the reform and opening up,the socialist market economy with Chinese characteristics has been continuously deepened and broadened,and commercial exchanges between China and many countries have become more frequent and closer.Moreover,with the development of shipping technology,many enterprises and industries related to import and export trade in our country have developed rapidly,and minerals import and export related enterprises among others.China has become the world's largest trading country,but the operating efficiency of companies is still very low.With the strengthening of the trend of economic globalization,China has experienced continuous development in foreign trade for many years.The total amount of foreign trade has continued increased,and in 2019 it exceeded 31 trillion,and thus becomes a veritable world's largest trading country.However,many domestic enterprises related to international trade still have many shortcomings in supply chain management,especially inventory management.Inventory management is an important part related to the operation and operation of foreign trade enterprises.In order to balance quality,cost and operating efficiency,we have put forward higher requirements on the inventory management of related products.This paper focuses on SDSCM Company's inventory management.First,this paper briefly introduces the research background,research methods,research significance,and structure of the paper.Secondly,this paper provides an overview of the relevant theories involved in the research,including inventory management,inventory management method.Thirdly,this paper introduces the SDSCM Company's main business,organization construction,inventory management system status,inventory materials management status and so on.And then this paper analyzes problems of the company's inventory management,such as: irrational organization construction,unscientific performance appraisal mechanism,lack of inventory classification management and so on.Finally,combined with the current situation of the SDSCM Company,this paper proposes some measures for improvement,including improving organization construction of inventory management department,performance appraisal mechanism and order model,and managed inventory according to its sort.To ensure the effective implementation of measures for improvement,it also proposes some guarantee methods,such as establishing the right inventory management concepts,improving staff professionalism.The research results of this paper not only contribute to the improvement of SDSCM Company inventory management,but also have a guiding significance for other domestic supply chain platform companies and international trading companies with similar problems to optimize the inventory management process.
