Multilevel Analysis Of Factors Affecting Safety Motivation

Safety is the prerequisite for ensuring social stability and harmony,and is also the guarantee for the sustainable and efficient development of the enterprise's economy.At present,the situation of work safety in China is still grim,especially the occurrence of major accidents in recent years,which not only brought huge economic losses,but also threatened the lives of the people.It has been found in many studies that human unsafe behaviors are increasingly showing a leading role in accidents.In order to explore the causes of unsafe behaviors,this study conducted a detailed study and analysis of the safety motivations that affect employees' safety behaviors based on the results of relevant motivation theory and self-determination theory,finally propose corresponding constructive suggestions for coal mine and construction-related enterprises.This study established a hypothetical theoretical model based on a large number of references to relevant theoretical literature,then use the method of interview and questionnaire to collect data.Through the use of statistical software such as SPSS and AMOS to organize and analyze the data obtained by the questionnaire survey,and finally draw conclusions.Research indicates:(1)Safety motivation can be divided into two dimensions: controlled safety motivation and autonomous safety motivation;Both types of safety motivation have a significant predictive effect on safety behavior,but the influence of autonomous safety motivation on safety behavior is even better.(2)The influencing factors that affect the organizational level of safety motivation include: safety incentives and leadership style variables,of which safety incentives are divided into two dimensions: reward and punishment system and safety training;The leadership style is divided into two dimensions:transformational leadership and transactional leadership;Except that safety training has no direct and significant impact on both types of safety motivation,the remaining three dimensions(reward and punishment system,transformational leadership,and transactional leadership)all have significant predictions for controlled and autonomous safety motivations.Among them,the effect on the controlled safety motivation is:transactional leadership > transformative leadership > reward and punishment system;the effect on the independent safety motivation is:transformational leadership > transactional leadership > reward and punishment system.(3)The influencing factors of individual level of safety motivation include: safety ability,safety awareness and risk perception;these three dimensions have significant predictive effects on controlled safety motivation and autonomous safety motivation.The effects on the controlled safety motivation are: security ability > risk perception > security awareness;The effects on the autonomous safety motivation are: security ability > security awareness > risk perception.(4)The controlled safety motive plays an intermediary role between the reward and punishment system,leadership style,safety ability,risk perception and safety behavior;Autonomous safety motivation plays an intermediary role between transformative leadership,safety capabilities,safety awareness,risk perception and safety behavior.Based on the above conclusions of the study,this article puts forward corresponding suggestions at the level of organizational management and individual employees.We believe that safety is a human instinctive desire.With the continuous deepening of the research and exploration of safety motivation,the safety situation will be improved to a large extent by holding the safety shield and preventing accidents.
