With the development of the national economy,the country's demand for coal is increasing,and the transshipment volume of coal is extremely huge.In the process of coal transshipment,the belt conveyor plays an extremely important role.However,due to the collision and wear of the transported materials,it is easy to cause various damages to the conveyor belt.According to statistics,more than 90% of the broken belt accidents occurs at the vulcanization of the conveyor belt joints.Once the conveyor belt fractures,it seriously threatens the lives of frontline personnel,and the vulcanization process of the joint after breaking will take several days,which will cause huge economic losses.High-quality conveyor belt vulcanized joints will bring huge safe and economic benefits.The precise control of the three elements of vulcanization(temperature,pressure,time)is an important part of the formation of high-quality vulcanized joints.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study a set of monitoring systems of vulcanization states of belt joints,which is accurate,efficient and reliable.In this paper,a multi-channel vulcanization temperature monitoring platform for the conveyor belt joint,based on Lab VIEW,is designed to explore the distribution characteristics of the vulcanization temperature of the conveyor belt joint,.It can collect and display the vulcanization temperature of the conveyor belt joints in real time.Ithas designed the temperature data analysis and the abnormal alarm function of the vulcanization process.The platform is easy to operate and has a large expansion space.It can accurately and conveniently complete the comprehensive and real-time monitoring of the vulcanization temperature.In order to explore the vulcanization temperature characteristics of the vulcanization temperature in the horizontal and vertical directions,an experimental platform for the vulcanization temperature was built in the angles of horizontal temperature uniformity and vertical temperature transfer characteristics.According to the symmetry of the center of the heating plate in the horizontal direction,the sensors are densely arranged on the surface of the1/8 heating plate to grasp the distribution of the vulcanization temperature in the horizontal direction.In the vertical direction,three characteristic points wereselected according to the temperature distribution characteristics in the horizontal direction.Each point was equipped with a sensor at the four interfaces of the vulcanization temperature transfer.,the temperature transfer characteristics in the vertical direction were explored by the vulcanization experiment.In view of the characteristics of uncertainty,large inertia and serious non-linearity of the vulcanization temperature of the conveyor belt joint,fuzzy PID is selected as the control strategy after comparing the advantages and disadvantages of different control strategies By establishing transfer function and fuzzy control rules,the fuzzy PID controller of conveyor belt joint vulcanization temperature is completed after the input and output variables are fuzzy.The simulation model of PID and fuzzy PID control strategy is established in Matlab/Simulink,and the conclusion is drawn from the comparison of simulation experiments which is that the fuzzy PID has less overshoots,shorter time to reach steady state and the better stability than PID control strategy.After applying external interference,the adjustment ability is stronger.PLC,high-performance modular peripherals and fuzzy PID control strategy are integrated intothe conveyor belt joint vulcanization state monitoring system.The system has the characteristics of high vulcanization temperature monitoring accuracy,strong stability and strong operability.In addition,functions such as temperature sensor abnormal alarm,vulcanization temperature overrun alarm,vulcanization constant temperature automatic timing,and automatic power at the end of constant temperature are added to ensure the safety and reliability of the vulcanization operation process.the configuration interface,with good human-computer interaction,can display the vulcanization real-time status comprehensively.
